training and coaching programs that cultivate inspiring leaders, innovative teams, and captivating presenters. Our unique approach rests on three pillars: the power of storytelling, our innate play instinct, and embodied learning.
FOR LEADERS AND EXECUTIVES
Skillful leaders know how to access the creative potential in the ‘unknown’; it’s how they create successful futures for their organizations. Our programs promote mindful, creative leadership capabilities that enable leaders and executives to express themselves authentically and to inspire with their unique style. We develop presence, awareness of body and voice, interpersonal expertise, and the ability to act nimbly in the face of uncertainty.
Teams that work well together optimize productivity and strengthen the vision, values, and culture of your business. Our team programs bring out the best in collaboration. We facilitate communication that creates new possibilities and help you harness diversity as a generative resource. Teams respond with increased trust, newfound motivation and creative versatility.
We work with individuals to strengthen presence and presentations. We focus on the integration of mind, body, and voice to get your message across effectively. For individuals in transition, we offer programs that tap into intuitive knowing to identify meaning and purpose and bring clarity of direction.

HOW IT WORKS
Self-connections. Human Connections. Creativity Connections. Team Connections. Neuro-connections. Left and Right Brain Connections!
Our process is new, it’s unique and it’s paradigm shifting because it’s ‘mind-blowingly’ easy. Who said it had to be difficult? We’ll have you making new connections before your mind has a chance to ‘think’ about why it’s not possible.
At the core of our approach is a multi-layered process called Synapsing®, created by Nila Aalia. Originating from the performing and somatic arts, Synapsing incorporates the evolving neuroscience of play and creativity, as well as positive psychology. This unique fusion activates embodied learning. It is a learning that by- passes flip charts and formulas and “walks the talk.” It is a highly effective,
experiential process that pays attention to the interconnectedness of human intelligence and the vast world of possibilities our brain contains.
Our approach is supportive and inclusive. It creates an atmosphere that quickly establishes a trusting foundation for meaningful learning to flourish. The experiential learning aspect acts as a memory anchor – deeper and longer lasting than approaches that target cerebral intelligence alone.
We are the opposite of an App! We are humans facilitating human-to-human connectivity!
Organizations benefit greatly from leaders and teams that excel creatively: they deliver ideas, drive innovation, and identify strategies for enhancing performance. And yet to many, creativity remains a somewhat elusive quality belonging to certain gifted individuals or perhaps some
mad artist types. This is where we come in: we are experts in facilitating the creative process. We make it accessible. Our distinct approach puts you in the driver’s seat of your creative intelligence.
WHO WE ARE
Leah Lawrence is captivated by the possibilities inherent in helping people find their voice, both the resonant audible voice as well as the confident inner voice. She integrates a unique combination of inner calm and steadfast poise with a spontaneous mind, nimble and imaginative. Leah exudes magnetic approachability: her generosity of spirit and disarming honesty enable people to feel safe and supported, and in turn emboldened to stretch outside their comfort zone.
Leah has been working as a coach and facilitator since 2007. With a background in the performing arts, Leah was drawn to further professional development in human potential modalities that embrace embodied learning. She is an authorized Synapsing® teacher and certified Yoga instructor. Both practices enable her to deliver transformative learning experiences that strengthen mindfulness, empower intuitive inventiveness, and instill generous collaboration in teams.
In the arena of the performing arts, Leah has worked as singer- songwriter, actor and teaching artist. She has written and produced two music albums – Folk by Foulke, Vol.I & Vol.II. As an actor, Leah has performed at New York’s Off Broadway Cherry Lane Theater and on ABC’s All My Children. Her extensive experience as a teaching artist in numerous schools in Chicago and New York City has given her a deep knowledge of leadership in learning environments.
Outside of work, the things that make Leah Leah are her childrens’ laughter, enjoying time outside in nature, singing in harmony with a group, and being stopped on the street – no matter what country or if she speaks the language – by strangers asking for directions.
Leah is a graduate of Colorado College (BFA) and Columbia University (MFA). She lives with her family in Westchester, NY.

WHERE & WHEN
All of our programs are custom tailored to the needs of our clients. We are a small and highly specialized organization and as such are agile and flexible in how, where, and when we work with you.
Two to five day intensive retreats
WHEN WORKING WITH INDIVIDUALS, I LOVE THE MOMENT WHEN A PERSON DISCOVERS SOMETHING POWERFUL IN THEMSELVES, SOMETHING THEY HAVE NOT BEEN AWARE OF UNTIL NOW. THE MOMENT WHEN THEY CONNECT TO SOMETHING INSIDE OF THEMSELVES THAT IS TRUE, THEIR VOICE BECOMES MORE RESONANT, THEIR IDEA IS GENIUS, THEY FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE JUST SPREAD THEIR WINGS WIDE AND COME INTO THEIR AUTHENTIC SELVES.
WHEN WORKING WITH A TEAM, IT IS THE MOMENT OF COMPLETE SURPRISE WHEN PEOPLE WORK TOGETHER IN SEAMLESS COLLABORATION AND A NEW CONNECTION IS FOUND. IT IS THE CREATIVE ACT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES – CALL IT NATURE, EVOLUTION OR PROOF OF SYSTEMS THINKING – IT IS AN EGO-LESS MOMENT WHEN EACH INDIVIDUAL IS AT THEIR MOST POWERFUL AND RESONANT, AND AT THE SAME TIME HIGHLY TUNED IN TO THE WHOLE: LISTENING, RESPONDING, OFFERING, COMPLEMENTING, AND COMPLETING. IT’S LIKE A GOOD JAZZ ENSEMBLE.
“Thank you so much for a FUN and enriching session. What came out of the session was truly astounding to me and a testament to how other non-rational methodologies can unlock creativity in powerful ways.”
“I not only enjoyed the way you worked with me with movement and tone and language. I also found it remarkable how you addressed me, the words you found hit the center of one of my main themes.”
“The workshop was great fun. I learned so much. The exercises helped me get to know a whole other part of me. I feel much more positive and confident about giving a presentation. I am sure it’s also because you never criticized me… you kept stressing the positive and initiated changes without making me feel awkward. That’s one of the reasons I felt so at ease.”
“The workshop gave me this unexpected surprise of shaping the whole talk. The exercises helped me get out of my own way. It’s as if my body remembered the work we did on a cellular level – not cerebrally. I felt comfortable up at the podium speaking. I felt free up there.”
“The multiple workshops provided me with powerful insights about myself. As one of the key outcomes, I could extract a meaningful and directional purpose statement for my private and professional life.”
“You helped me feel grounded and focused for this presentation. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate these sessions and your encouragement to just let out my experiences and let them speak for themselves.”
